Do I need to purchase yarn?

Season 1 - There are no yarns necessary for Season 1, it is all about technique.

Seasons 2, 3, 4 & 5 - You'll find all the yarns I use for each sample in Seasons 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 listed on the School of Weaving Yarn Supply List.

We have kits available for you to purchase in our JST Online Shop, but if you have the yarn in your stash we encourage you to use it. You get the draft with the video so you can even make substitutions. This shop will take you to another website, the Jane Stafford Textiles website. You will need a different login for this site from the School of Weaving one.

All additional yarns used in the extra samples shown on the videos are available to purchase at JST Online Shop.

Information on Kits and Shipping

We are aware of the shipping costs for a single kit, so it’s always best to order more than one. Remember that the episodes aren’t going anywhere. You don’t have to start the very same day a new episode comes out :)

Two heads are better than one, it’s double the pleasure, triple the fun.

Many weavers are putting their orders together to share the shipping. Remember that shipping is free on orders over $250. If you don’t have anyone to share the shipping with, this might be a great time to add a friend to the guild, wink, wink and then you will.
