Yarn supply list - Season 8 - Double The Fun

January 23, 2024 - M's & O's Go On A Second Date - 3 cones of 8/2 cotton – Natural,

2 cones of 8/2 cotton – Charcoal, 1 cone of 8/2 cotton – Cherry to weave 8 towels

March 7, 2024 - Shadow Weave From Atwater to Powell

There are 3 projects in total for this episode, one for 4 shafts and two for 8 shafts:

4 Shaft Scarf project - 4-100g cones of 18/2 Merino, 2 cones in Black, and 2 cones in Pewter for 2 scarves.
8 Shaft Gamp project - 4 cones of 8/2 cotton – 2 dark, 1 light, and 1 cone in a contrasting colour to weave 5 gamps and a bit of play.
8 Shaft Scarf - 4-100g cones of 18/2 Merino, 2 cones in Black, and 2 cones in Pewter for 2 scarves. Instructions & draft for the 8 shaft scarf project will be provided when the episode airs.

April 18 - Episode 3 - Deflected Double Weave - for 4 & 8 shaft looms TBA

There are 3 projects in total for this episode, one for 4 shafts and 2 for 8 shafts.

4 shaft project for 8 towels - 6 cones of 8/2 cotton, 2 Black, 2 Bleached, 1 Peacock and 1 Pale Limette.
8 shaft project for 2 shawls - 6 cones of 16/2 Peruvian Baby Alapaca, 4 Chartreuse, 1 Marigold and 1 Fuchsia
8 shaft project for 2 scarves or 1 scarf and 1 long sampler - 4 cones of 18/2 Jaggerspun Zephyr, 2 Pewter, 1 Ebony and 1 Steel

May 30 - Episode 4 - Block Double Weave - for 4 & 8 shaft looms TBA

For 4 shaft OR the 8 shaft projects, yarns needed are:

4 or 8 shaft project for 6 placemats and 6 napkins - 10 cones of 8/2 cotton, 1 cone each in Olive, Peacock, Gold, Apricot, Purple, Navy, Red, Pale Orange, Fuchsia, and Hot Pink
If you choose to weave the extra project on the same warp (making your warp 8 yards instead of 6 yards) so you can weave the 1 runner and 1 tote bag, you will need in additon of the 10 cones of 8/2 cotton approximately 203 grams of mop cotton in Black for the runner.

July 11 - Episode 5 - Sequins Pockets on 8 shaft Turned Twill - for 8 shafts

Yarns needed are: 1 cone each of 16/2 cotton Fuchsia and Turmeric for the warp. For the weft, 5 colours of 16/2 Bamboo. If you want to stuff the pockets, you will also need some 8 mm sequins if you plan to stuff the pockets. Optional is 1 spool of sequin yarn.

August 22 - Episode 6 - Basketry, Weave a Rib Basket - everyone!
